Welcome to the Engineer of Wealth

Hi! And NO - I’m not a guru claiming to know everything about money earning & wealth generation.

I’m simply a guy who strongly believes that generating wealth is a problem to solve - and that can be solved with a systematic approach, engineering principles, and some stubbornness to complete the set.

I’m here to Prove The Point. And document the journey.

I’m learning on the way, so if you want to learn together, welcome!

My Journey to $1M

I am on the quest to prove, that you can earn $1M online by being cautious about what you do and avoid stupid mistakes.

I track the progress on my $1M quest, reserving each square to a $1k earned.

Of course, it’s not that simple, because there are costs hidden on the way, and taxes involved… so for simplicity I track the secured income over time.

But there is a caveat!

I am not here to encourage you to pursue the hustle culture, sacrificing everything for money, just to realize, you’re getting rich, but you’ve lost a chance to build fulfilling life on the way.

I am here to prove, that you don’t need to choose money OVER family or health, and I’ll use my engineering brain to show myself (and you too), how to do it.

You don’t need to hate your boss and 9-5 job, in order to get compounding effects over time.

The idea is to build real wealth without losing your family, your health, or your integrity in the process.

Engineer of Wealth exists to prove a simple claim: you can become wealthy with a family-first approach - if you apply an engineering mindset to life and money.

  • Clear constraints.

  • Solid architecture.

  • Long-term thinking.

  • Relentless iteration.

First I build it for myself. Then I help 100 others do the same.

No hype. No lottery tickets. Just systems that compound.

Why This Exists

Most wealth advice falls into three camps:

  • Motivational noise with no numbers

  • Polished success stories with the struggle removed

  • Fast-money tactics that burn out families and reputations

  • Hate-your-boss advices, that leads to depression

That’s not how engineers operate.

Engineers solve constrained problems.
And the real constraint isn’t money.

It’s time.
It’s energy.
It’s attention.
It’s your marriage.
It’s your children watching.

If wealth costs those things, it’s poorly designed.

What I did so far…

2018 → 2023 Udemy Experiment

In 2018 I’ve created a Udemy course, that over the time generated more than 3k sells, and around $14k of revenue.

It was a nice little experiment I tried in order to check whether earning online is even an option? Because I still had my day job, I just saved those income and put into first investments, and saved for the next project to come.

In this period, 2 of my kids were born. At the end, I’ve switched my focus to next initiative, Hanami Mastery, and used those earnings to accelerate the growth a bit, then closed the Udemy course for the time being.

2021 → 2025 Hanami Mastery

In 2021 I’ve got fascinated about the Hanami ruby framework. It was extremely well done project, that solved some pain points that were not addressed in Ruby community for over a decade.

Yet, it had no traction and the main problem was - lack of educational resources. I’ve started learning this project deeply and immediately started to record video tutorials around this.

This quickly turned into a very profitable little project for the few next years, generating over $43k within a few years.

I’m proud of this project, however, I could not continue it due ot personal reasons.

Anyway, because I still worked as a software engineer, I did not need to use these earnings, and I’ve spent thousands of hours into learning everything I could about investing.

2022 → … - Investing era

By understanding how psychology of markets plays its role and assets I invest in, I was able to generate over 300% of profit between 2022 → 2025, focusing on Bitcoin and Gold.

I’ve secured half of the profits, leaving the rest in the investing assets, waiting for the price drop to repeat what I did then.

2026 → … - Engineer of Walth

Over years I’ve definitely did something correctly. Within a few years, I’ve managed to generate online savings crossing $100k, which is 10% of One Million Dollars.

I did that while having:

  • 9-5 job.

  • 3 homeschooled kids

  • lovely wife

So, I’ve decided to do 3 things.

  1. Make a claim.

  2. Share what I know, do and build

  3. Increase the pace.

Who I Am

I’m Sebastian Wilgosz.

Professionally, I build distributed systems. I’ve worked with microservices, event sourcing, and automated payment systems. I understand scale, failure modes, and compounding effects.

Personally, I’m building toward financial independence while putting family first. I don’t want my wife to be forced into work. I want to educate my children deliberately. I want time and freedom without chaos.

I’m not selling a finished story.

I’m documenting the build.

My edge isn’t charisma nor extreme consistency. It’s synthesis.
I connect engineering, economics, psychology, and leverage into practical execution.

My Core Philosophy

1. Systems beat intensity.
Grinding harder is not a strategy. Good architecture wins.

2. Sustainable beats impressive.
I care more about 20 years of stability than 20 months of hype.

3. Wealth is engineered.
It’s the output of compounding assets - skills, products, equity, reputation.

4. Family is a design constraint, not a trade-off.
If your plan requires sacrificing what matters most, redesign the plan.

5. Public accountability accelerates growth.
I build in the open. Wins, mistakes, pivots.

What You’ll Find Here

Deep Essays
Practical thinking on wealth building through leverage, products, and ownership.

Build Logs
What I’m creating. Revenue experiments. Strategic shifts. What broke. What worked.

Frameworks
Clear models you can apply:

  • How to design income systems

  • How to compound skills strategically

  • How to think in assets instead of tasks

  • How to increase earning power without increasing chaos

Engineering Applied to Life
Architecture thinking for:

  • Career decisions

  • Side projects

  • Capital allocation

  • Time management

What Makes This Different

I’m not optimizing for:

  • Viral threads

  • Short-term hacks

  • Empty productivity theatre

I’m optimizing for:

  • High-skill leverage

  • Ownership over employment dependency

  • Assets over income

  • Freedom over status

Most people try to earn more.

Engineers design better systems and earn as a result.

The Long Game

The goal is not “rich.”

The goal is:

  • Financial independence

  • A strong marriage

  • Present fatherhood

  • Geographic flexibility

  • Work chosen, not required

This is a 10 year build.

And compounding rewards patience.

Who This Is For

  • People who want to architect their life.

  • Builders who want ownership

  • Fathers who refuse to trade family for money

  • Analytical minds who prefer models over motivation

If you think in systems and care about legacy, you’ll feel at home here.
